A little about this puzzle

Inside a harbor nature center, an adult educator holds a ruler across the widest part of an empty scallop shell in a shallow tray. A girl records the observation in a notebook while a boy watches. Moored boats, a breakwater and a lighthouse are visible through the window; heron and lighthouse pictures hang indoors. Ten objects are distributed around the observation counter, windowsill and equipment shelf: a scallop shell, ruler, observation notebook, water bottle, binoculars, camera, pencil, compass, coastal map and magnifying glass. The clean-line cartoon is designed with ages 10–12 in mind. Choose the Color or Line art image, use the picture clues to find each object, and keep the Answer key separate until you are ready to check. The three images can be printed or saved as PDF using your browser.

Make it your own
